JFC Global is Hiring a HR Director Near Harrisburg, PA

Our client in the Harrisburg area is looking for an HR Director. With a blue-collar workforce of over 500 employees, they pride themselves on providing exceptional service while fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. They are expanding their business and are looking to have multiple acquisitions in the coming year. This is an onsite position with a salary range of $100-110k plus bonus.

HR Director Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of all HR functions including safety, compliance, onboarding, recruiting, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Serve as a business partner to the management team, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  • Manage a team of HR professionals, including two onsite and one remote HR Generalist.
  • Coordinate and conduct quarterly travel to other locations for HR-related activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement recruiting strategies, including outreach to trade schools.

HR Director Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of HR management experience, preferably in a blue-collar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed.
