Jewish Federation of St. Louis is Hiring a Manager of Jewish Community Engagement Near St. Louis, MO

The Jewish Federation of St. Louis is seeking a Manager of Jewish Community Engagement who is creative and energetic, and skilled in relationship building and Jewish community organizing. With direction from the Leadership Team and the Community Leadership & Engagement Committee, this person will develop plans for and implement Federation’s engagement strategies through new and existing projects. This person will report to the Chief of Staff.

Compensation and Benefits for the Manager of Jewish Community Engagement:

Our team loves working in support of helping others live with human dignity, meaning, and relevance. We offer a fun, collaborative team environment with excellent health and wellness benefits, and a work environment with hybrid options. This role also has a competitive starting salary between $60,000-$70,000 annually.

Requirements for the Manager of Jewish Community Engagement at Jewish Federation of St. Louis:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 3 years of experience in Jewish engagement and/or education work;
  • Understanding of and connection to Jewish history, values, traditions, the Jewish community, and Israel;
  • Experience developing and implementing programs;
  • Experience facilitating dialogues, particularly among individuals and communities with diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities for the Manager of Jewish Community Engagement at Jewish Federation of St. Louis:

  • Enhancing or reframing Federation’s work by integrating a Jewish lens (internally and externally);
  • Implementing Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ engagement strategy, which aims to connect people to people, people to organizations and resources in our community, and people to their Jewish identity;
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to engage and educate our community;
  • Developing plans for and implementing ideas for engagement/education in the community with direction from Federation’s leadership;
  • In partnership with programmers and the development team, creating and implementing strategies to turn program attendees to donors;
  • Maintaining a portfolio of annual campaign donors;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
