Primary Purpose of Job
The Fit & Sit Associate is responsible for the daily program in the Fit & Sit area. Our Fit & Sit area is available as child care for children 6 weeks to 7 years of age while parents are in the building utilizing the fitness center. Looking for help with Evening hours 4:30PM to 7:30 PM and Wednesday Morning.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Supervise children from 6 weeks to 7 years of age while the parents are in the building for an activity or meeting.
2. Supervise children at play and be an active participant in play activities.
3. Make sure all children using the room are abiding by the rules and that safety is your number one concern.
4. Answer the telephone and take accurate messages.
5. Responsible for checking in and out all children.
6. Greeting parents with a positive attitude and talking to them in a professional manner.
7. Checking all toys on a daily basis and reporting to supervisor if any toys need to be repaired or thrown away because of a safety hazard.
8. Change diapers and tend to the children’s basic needs while in the room.
9. Report any issue regarding safety or procedures to supervisor as needed.
10. Providing snack to all children.
11. Provide list of supplies in order to keep all items stocked in the room.
12. Make sure the room is clean and games are put away at the end of the shift. This includes washing down and cleaning all toys each day.
13. Attend all staff training sessions and staff meetings.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· Experience in childcare setting, working with children, or related field
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
