Bright Horizons Children's Centers is Hiring a Child Care Teacher (Summer Only) Near Omaha, NE

Child Care Teacher (Summer Only)

Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.75

Come join our beautiful center in downtown Omaha! With a warm, family feeling throughout the center, coming to work every day is enjoyable and rewarding! Our center has 3 large playgrounds, 3 Movement Matters spaces inside, and STEM lab on-site, in addition to an abundance of equipment and materials to help you make learning fun for everyone! Enjoy a quiet walk on your break where the Gene Leahy mall is within walking distance or visit nearby restaurants and shops. We have an active parent partnership group that celebrates teacher appreciation monthly by stocking the break room and often catering of meals along with little gifts. We offer free, gated parking so no need to have to find a spot each day! With our free Degree program, your opportunities to grow will be an additional bonus!

Full-time positions now available with K-Prep/School Age .

As a Day Care Teacher, you will:

  • Create and lead activities based on your observations of the children's interests and needs.

  • Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child's day.

  • Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required

  • Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred

  • At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred

Compensation Range: $17.00 - $20.75
