JEVS Care at Home is Hiring a Client Care Manager Near Pittsburgh, PA

JEVS Care at Home (JCAH) is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization providing non-medical home care, respite, companionship and community integration support services to disabled and aging clients in the Greater Philadelphia, PA and Pittsburgh, PA regions. Our goal is to keep our clients as independent as possible, in the comfort of their own homes and communities.

About the Role

The Client Care Manager you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients, including but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, and supervision of caregivers. Strong communication skills are necessary to be successful in ensuring reliable and highly trained caregivers are matched with clients in need. As the Client Care Manager, you will drive growth through client and employee satisfaction.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

  • Create opportunities for new business and to grow Client caseload
  • Monitor and own your individual caseload metrics (i.e. overtime) and gross margin
  • Manage billing and pay rates within approved limits

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties/special projects and reports, as assigned
  • Perform On-Call duties as back up On-Call Manager when needed
  • Serve as a back-up as need needed for other Client Care Managers when they are out of the office
  • Adhere to JCAH policies and procedures, as well as all applicable standards of care and governmental laws and regulations
  • Adhere to all compliance practices and standards

Qualifications/Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a Human Services or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Home Care, Account Management, Social Work, and/or work with The Office of Long-Term Living.
  • Experience working with elderly and/or disabled population preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills and an ability to problem solve efficiently and effectively.
  • Displays empathy, genuinely cares, and has an innate personal regard for all people in need of and receiving services.
  • Ability to provide quality documentation
  • Has exceptional customer service skills and takes ownership of issues for a satisfying resolution and customer experience.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, analytical thinking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  • Bi-lingual a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of HHAeXchange, SAMS, AlayaCare and/or HCSIS desirable but not required.
  • Must have own car, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
  • Ability to work hybrid schedule; 2-days in office, 1 day in field on client visits; rest remote.
