Job Overview:

We are seeking the best restaurant manager in Newark! Jersey Mike's is well known for serving the best sub sandwich in a fun and vibrant atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, inventory management, hiring, training, store cleanliness, and customer service. The manager will be able to do all of these tasks while leading and being supported by a team of 15-20 awesome people.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant's operations with a smile.
- Make sure our guests have the best experience they have ever had.
- Train and develop a rockstar team that can have fun while getting the job done.
- Monitor inventory levels and sales reports.
- Maintain our high food quality standards.
- Maintain an incredibly clean restaurant and kitchen.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in restaurant management or a closely related field.
- Ability to work all day-parts and sometimes extra hours as needed.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to handle high volume and prep on the fly.
- Willingness to lead from the front in all areas of restaurant operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

We offer fantastic pay and paid vacation. The pay is a combination of salary and regular store-performance bonuses.

Please note: The interview process will be done in phases. First phase will be conducted via phone and will be 15-30 minutes. The second phase will be in-person in the store.
