We are seeking a General Manager to join a local plastics manufacturer in the Lake Geneva area for a direct hire.
Pay: 1250,000 - 175,000
Description:
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production and minimize costs. • Manage production schedules and ensure production targets are met on time and within budget. • Monitor product quality and implement quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations. • Utilize Kaizen principles to realize immediate benefits and set foundation for continuous improvement. • Improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organizations’ vision. • Plan and facilitate department and executive team meetings. • Support and drive the implementation of TPM.
Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years as Operations Manager / General Manager in a manufacturing environment. • Advanced Composites knowledge/experience. • Strong ability to take initiatives, problem-solve and work in a fast-paced team setting. • Knowledge of manufacturing process, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. • Strong leadership and management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
