Identifies problematic side effects related to weight loss and offers recommendations as appropriate within respective Scope of Practice in the State of Missouri; refers to PCP as appropriate.

Appropriate medical record documentation

Provides appropriate safety and infection control measures

Ability to talk one on one with patients, on phone, regarding weight loss and program on a weekly basis

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program or dietetics program

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one year experience as a licensed professional

Prefer previous experience in a weight management or willingness to learn

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitian in the State of Missouri

Current BLS certification

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Personal qualities: empathy and compassion for obese individuals

Desire to promote weight loss program(s)
