Investment Banking Associate in Jefferies Boston Office.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Jefferies is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to lead transactions in a highly active capital markets environment – this team executes the full suite of investment banking services including M&A (predominately sell-side), debt financings utilizing Jefferies committed syndicated and direct lending capabilities, and equity capital markets transactions including IPOs, follow-on and growth raises. This is an exceptionally active group executing a high volume of private equity-linked deals. Lead sell-side M&A execution experience is a must. The Boston office houses approximately 50 people and this team consists of ~20 bankers focused on consumer, retail, business services, distribution, and technology transactions related to the automotive aftermarket.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the execution of equity and debt financings, M&A, and restructuring and recapitalization transactions
• Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies’ analyses
• Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses
• Analyze detailed corporate and financial information, as well as conduct due diligence
• Attending client meetings with MDs
• Build financial / three-statement operating models
• Conduct industry and product research

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000
