Position Requirements: - Manage the project teams Enterprise Managed Print Services (EMPS) Support to all facets of installation, operation, device upgrades (i.e., hard drive changes for Secret Internet Protocol Router Network [SIPRNet] to Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network [NIPRNet] transition), software/firmware replacement and upgrades, decommissioning, logistics, monitoring, management, and restoral of devices.
- Oversees resource allocation and management of equipment deployment, resource allocation extends beyond personnel and budget to encompass hardware, software licenses, network bandwidth, and physical space.
- Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and equipment) to multiple simultaneous requirements.
- Ensures the most effective use of resources to support the deployment process while optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
- Ensures compliance and regulatory requirements are met regarding general contractual obligations, equipment deployment to DoD and industry standards, particularly regarding data security and privacy.
- Ensures compliance with DoD governance and coordinates with relevant stakeholders, such as legal and compliance teams.
- Oversees the creation of comprehensive documentation and establishment of processes for ongoing maintenance and updates.
- Ensures regular reporting on project progress, issues, and milestones is essential to keep stakeholders informed and facilitate decision-making.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), coordinate staff access, develop concept of operations (CONOPS), clearances for contractor-furnished vehicles (for deliveries of parts, consumables, print device moves), etc.
- Provide direction and mentoring to project team members; set the appropriate goals and objectives.
- Provide analysis of operational objectives and draft plans to meet objectives • Meet customer needs through exceptional customer service and effective solutions that are consistent, flexible, and timely.
- Provide customers with consistent, high-quality service for improved reliability through the proactive identification and resolution of potential problems.
- Establish and maintain a scalable and flexible project capability that quickly and effectively adapts to the dynamic government environment without disrupting the customer.
- Deliver effective management and support capabilities by using a Systems Engineering discipline, innovative approaches, and exceptional problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges.
- Improve the formality and optimization of the government’s processes in order to better manage quality, risk and the knowledge base.
- Reduce operational complexity within the client environment and eliminate barriers that impede information sharing to improve support for Government’s cross-organizational, segmented and geographically diverse customer base.
- Oversee the management of customer printers (Government Furnished Equipment [GFE]) not purchased by the Contractor in accordance with this contract.
Qualifications:- Experience in Enterprise IT systems and understanding how the deployment of IT equipment fits into the broader IT infrastructure of the organization.
- Possess a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and domain knowledge to navigate the complexities of IT deployment projects effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree is highly desired.
- Four (4) years of program management experience of similar scope, type, and complexity with at least one (1) of the four (4) years with the DoD may be substituted for a Graduate degree
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired.
- Five (5) of demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and report
- One (1) year experience in Enterprise IT systems and projects
- Position requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Desired Requirements: - Mastery of Microsoft tools and applications
- Working knowledge of DISA and/or DoD is a plus.
