Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Technology (IT) Manager to join our dynamic team. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our information technology infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and networks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems.

· Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of our systems and data.

· Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.

· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.

· Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity.

· Lead IT projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

· Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize IT resources and applications.

· Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity and competitiveness.

· Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to procure IT products and services and negotiate favorable contracts.

· Manage the IT budget and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with financial objectives.

Qualifications:

· Genuine passion for technology and computing.

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management.

· Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, network administration, Active Directory administration, Server Management, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing.

· Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and tools.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

· Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.

· Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security , CCNA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Oracle Certified Associate, Certified Entry-level Python Programmer, or PMP are desirable, but not necessary to apply.

Nice to have:

· Experience managing Proxmox, Ceph, and Samba

· Experience administering Windows Server & Active Directory

· Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes

· Experience with Python, Bash, and Powershell

· Strong Experience with any distribution of Linux.

Pay: $75,273.00 - $83,282.00 per year
