WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Operations Lead will work closely with operations, product, and third-party logistics teams to support supply chain operations, with a focus on customer-facing logistics. You will play a vital role in ensuring product is successfully ordered, sold, and delivered on time, and in supporting our goals for growth in 2024 and beyond. This position will require management, data analysis, problem solving, and communication skills to effectively streamline operations. This is a permanent full-time role for a highly organized candidate who will thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

• Work closely with our 3rd party logistics partner (3PL) to ensure on-time delivery of product to customers.
• Act as point of contact for shipping carriers and customs.
• Manage the wholesale fulfillment calendar and work with the operations team and our 3PL to prepare wholesale orders for fulfillment.
• Ensure vendor compliance for product shipments to wholesale partners.
• Track and analyze outbound shipments to maintain efficiency and monitor costs.
• Manage our returns platform and associated processes.
• Collaborate with our 3PL to organize inventory checks and update our inventory management system.
• Support launch of new products and collections on the Janji website through our e-commerce platform.
• Assist in arranging and monitoring inbound product shipments.
• Analyze product data and customer feedback to generate actionable insights for the product and customer service teams.
• Support with customer service communications as needed.
• Evaluate opportunities for more streamlined and automated operational processes across the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with quantitative coursework.
• 1-2 years of experience with data analysis and business problem solving.
• Experience leading projects, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and delivering successful outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
• Demonstrated ability to be agile and respond to a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A self-starter who is willing to seek input and guidance when needed.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including lookups, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
• Comfort with new technology; ability to quickly learn web-based e-commerce and inventory management software (e.g., Shopify, Shipstation).
• Ability to travel to our southern MA-based 3PL at least once a quarter.
• An enthusiasm for running and the outdoors is a plus.
