We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Cashier to join our team. As the first point of contact with our customers, you will provide exceptional customer service while processing transactions and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities

• Greet customers when they arrive and provide a welcoming environment
• Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions using a cash register
• Resolve customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate department for resolution
• Maintain accurate cash drawer records and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized, including restocking merchandise and cleaning the checkout station
• Complete opening and closing procedures for the checkout area, including balancing the cash drawer and securing the area
• Assist customers with locating merchandise or answering questions about products

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable with basic math and able to accurately calculate change
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
