Jaeckle Distributors in Omaha, NE has a rare opening for a new team member. This position will spend the majority of their time interacting and directly servicing our Will Call customers.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COUNTER SALES ASSOCIATE

• Provide friendly, accurate and professional customer service.
• Work with walk in customers and answer incoming calls for Will Call.
• Assist customers looking to pick up or place an order.
• Determine the customer's needs including, entering customer orders, fulfilling sample requests or answer questions product related information and pricing.
• Solicit sales for new or additional products.
• Give/locate technical advice for customers on products and installation as needed.
• Perform the functions of a warehouse associate as needed.
• Assist with inventory control process and maintaining monthly cycle counts.
• Support the receiving process as required.
• Audit the shipping paperwork to verify all delivery charges are added.
• Ability to assist customers in the Showroom as needed.

Knowledge and Skills

• Two to five consecutive years of customer service experience in an environment where the majority of contact is in person and over the phone.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of staff and customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to see a project or situation through from start to finish
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift 50 lbs. to 100lbs. and stand for 8 consecutive hours.
• Has previous forklift experience or has the willingness to be trained to use a forklift.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Possess good attendance and are dependable.

WORK SCHEDULE
