RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contact prospective and existing customers to inform them about products and services
- Answer questions about products, services, or the company
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements, overcome objections, and close sales
- Enter and update customer information in the database
- Take and accurately process orders in the system
- Handle any grievances to preserve the company's reputation
- Go the "extra mile" to help customer and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
- Direct prospects to sales management when needed
- High school diploma required, BA/BS or equivalent work experience preferred
- Proven experience in tele-sales or other sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting activity and sales quotas
- Successful track record using upselling and suggestive selling techniques
- Knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
- Fluent in English with superior verbal and written communication skills
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
