As the Intake and Billing Specialist you will be responsible for performing all tasks and communication related to intake of patient information concerning the service of durable medical equipment and respiratory products and supplies with patients/clients, healthcare practitioners, co-workers, and referral sources as it relates to patient services and third party reimbursement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer phone calls
• Assist patients over the phone and face to face
• Take and enter orders from physicians and facilities
• Verify eligibility and insurance benefits/coverage
• Discuss financials
• Process invoices and reports

REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (id: Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to type 55wpm
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize
• High Attention to Details
