JOB SUMMARY

The Resource Coordinator assists the NNORC Program Director with program tasks, including data collection and entry, participant registration, reception duties, and case assistance for senior participants. They collaborate with program staff and handle various administrative functions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide relevant information to participants regarding programs and services offered
• Develop and maintain a resource manual guide in English and Spanish to help community members find the right service
• Update databases; organize files, records and other documents.
• Perform duties such as documenting referrals of participants, communicating with external agencies as a representative of the NNORC program,
• Maintain and update participant records.
• Responsible for scheduling all meetings held in the conference room.
• Work with program leadership in the compilation of data needed for monthly reports.
• Proficient in creating and updating monthly calendars with meticulous attention to detail and organization.

Additional Responsibilities

• Work and communicate closely with NYCHA and external stakeholders
• Interact with Network Administrator as it pertains to any and all technology questions for designated programs

STATEMENT OF SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES

Education and Experience:

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database usage
• Bilingual Spanish/English - required
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Must be highly organized and attention to detail
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, participants, volunteers, and the general public.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from participants
• Ability to effectively present information to management and participants
