Responsibilities of a Building Maintenance Technician:

• Responsible for completing on-site maintenance requests for a residential healthcare setting, repairing, and maintaining essential mechanical, electrical, and resident care equipment, and ensuring basic facility upkeep.

Qualifications for a Building Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of building maintenance experience required
• Must have knowledge of basic hand tools, painting and groundskeeping
• Some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, drywall and electrical is preferred
• Prior maintenance experience in a residential healthcare setting (skilled nursing or nursing home facility) a plus.
