FT 11a-11p, every other weekend
Jackson ED has approximately 60,000 patient visits annually and is comprised of several areas: ED Major, ED Minor, Fast Track or in our Clinical Throughput Unit.
We are a Joint Commission Certified Center for Acute MI, Stroke, AAA, Bariatric Surgery and Spine Surgery. The Registered Nurse (RN) performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care for the assigned patients on the unit during a shift. The RN is responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice, which includes managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and for the promoting collaboration with all members of the health care team. The ED is a very fast paced environment and required organizational, computer and good time management skills for this job.
Requirements:
Current unrestricted AL or Multi state RN license, BLS, and ACLS required. PALS, TNCC and ED RN job experience strongly preferred for this shift.
