What You'll Do:

Our prep cooks prepare and portion fresh ingredients and prep recipes for use in our delicious dishes. You’ll use and learn a wide range of culinary techniques and skills in a professional, fast-paced kitchen.

Other Key responsibilities may include:

  • Keeps prepared food continuously moving out of the kitchen, according to the recipe
  • Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves
  • Completes daily prep list according to priorities
  • Operates and maintains equipment properly.
  • Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift.
  • Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils and cookware, taking out the trash and sanitizing kitchen
  • Ensures proper rotation of all products and stocks products to par.
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.

  • Great technique: you have strong knife skills
  • Kitchen savvy: you know your weights, measurements and volumes
  • Attention to detail: you follow all steps and techniques to ensure consistency
  • Tidy and clean: maintaining a sanitary, food-safe workstation is important to you
  • Team player: willing to work together to prep our kitchens
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously bend, reach and twist
  • Must be at least 18 years’ old
