Family Dental Care of Canton is looking for a Full Time Dental Hygienist to join our team Monday thru Thursday.

About Dental Care of Canton

• You would be joining a modern two Doctor practice with the most updated technology and new instruments
• Hours are M 7:45-5:00, T 7:15-6:00pm, W 7:45-6:00, Th 7:30-4:30 (35-40 hours)
• Located at 3237 Sixes Rd, Canton
• Schedule will consist of 8-11 patients a day, 60 minute reappt, 90 minute new patients

Minimum Qualifications 

• Current dental hygienist license in Georgia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experienced and New Grads welcome to apply
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dentalwith or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
