We have been retained by our client, a growing Commercial General Contractor in the Chicago, IL area, to find a Quality Control Manager . This professional will be instrumental in directing project quality control processes to ensure compliance with contractual and company standards.

Duties:

• Conduct and oversee in-process inspections and testing, ensuring alignment with project and contractual quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspection and testing schedules with project teams and external agencies.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports and logs for any deviations from specifications.
• Ensure quality of materials and equipment through rigorous receiving inspections.
• Develop and maintain accurate quality documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years in quality assurance/control in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with industry standards, including buildings, bridges, highways, and government project quality control requirements.
• Strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Four-year college degree with relevant field experience.
