Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service and sales support for all customers by using knowledge of Company products and services. The ideal candidate demonstrates expert communication and listening skills.

Duties and Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:

• Interact and build sustainable relationships with customers and sales team via phone, email, or in person to provide support to customers regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general customer concerns or requests.
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution; when an issue is beyond the representatives’ knowledge, forward it to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff. Maintain detailed information on customers inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Provide daily sales support, quote orders, process quotes, collect and enter transfer orders and monitor open orders.
• Reach out to customers and verify account information and set up new ship records on existing accounts.
• Monitor inventory quantities when quoting or entering orders and advise necessary departments in detail of any discrepancies or variances as well as the quantity needed to process open or pending orders.
• Ensure that the customer is aware of the many products we offer for sale.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience
• Experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Suite and Outlook
• Previous experience with CRM tools and phone systems
• This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
• This position requires typing at a minimum rate of 35 words per minute accurately.
