Summary: 
Responsible for assisting with the operational direction and administration of activities within the Route Operations Sales division. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 
• Identify sales leads.
• Develop and maintain relationships or partnerships with vendors.
• Assist other sales staff, as needed.
• Resolve problems within the department, by listening to ideas, probable solutions, and potential conflicts, and working with sales staff.
• Respond to special requests of vendors, as well as guest complaints and inquiries in a calm, prompt, and courteous manner.
• Promote positive, productive motivation within department.
• Ensure work performance standards, and team member development programs maximize the individual growth and development of staff.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 to 3 years’ previous experience performing same or similar job duties, preferably within gaming operations.
• Well versed in prospecting, rate and contract negotiating, business planning and telephone sales.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Proven experience exhibiting strong selling and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• Verify right to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:
• Frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels.
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, climb, squat, kneel, stand, and walk.
• Frequently sitting and driving.
• Constant use of hearing and vision, sitting, distinguishing between shades of color, and using tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
