POSITION PROFILE
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Rep will develop new commercial markets in addition to our existing customer base. The incumbent will work as a product specialist, consultant and sales representative to assist customers in the various stages of the sales and post-sales process.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with existing and potential customers;
- Analyze the potential of existing and potential customers;
- Guide customers according to their needs;
- Assist customers with technical sales;
- Identify new prospects that align with the company's growth strategy;
- Develop and deliver product presentations to existing and potential customers;
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, shipping and technical services teams;
- Coordinate and expedite resolution of customer complaints;
- Actively participate in trade shows and conventions.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bilingualism (French-English spoken and written) (an asset);
- Exceptional presentation skills in front of a group;
- Good understanding of business operations, customer and market dynamics;
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written);
- Good stress and priority management, ability to work with tight deadlines;
- Demonstrated negotiation skills;
- Demonstrate leadership with teams;
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Attention to detail with ability to multi-task
- Proficiency with technology - MS Office
- Collaborative team player
- Proven ability to deliver results ;
- Ability to adapt, flexibility and versatility in a changing and growing environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in administration or related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience;
- Proven ability to achieve expected sales goals.
