Overview

New Customer Specialist

Location : Chesterbrook, PA

The New Customer Specialist (NCS) will be responsible for fielding calls and web inquiries from our various marketing channels.

NCS will identify the most appropriate product offering based on each consumer’s request and pre-qualification status, and then ensure a successful handoff to the proper internal or external business line.

Additionally, the NCS will proactively help customers who apply for third-party services offered through the JG Wentworth Marketplace.

Data capture and strong customer service are key components of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a deep understanding of all existing products and those we may add to our product suite.
  • Proficiently and professionally handle calls with a mastered ability to identify potential products.
  • Follow a consistent call flow to accurately obtain all required data points from customers as they pertain to the qualification process and the application.
  • Remain adaptable to all potential customer service situations, responses, inquiries, etc. and seek management advice or peer support as needed.
  • Follow up with assigned customers and related third parties to help drive conversion of JGW Marketplace leads (e.g. Pre-Settlement)
  • Work all assigned web leads, return calls, voicemails, abandoned calls, etc. as directed
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information and / or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree OR relevant work experience required
  • Prior customer service experience required
  • Effective time management
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Work cooperatively with other members of the team
