How you will contribute:
The Assistant Project Managerwill work closely with the Project Management team assisting with material takeoff, ordering, material receiving and inventory.You will be a key member on the project team making sure field crews have their resources well planned and organized for installation efficiency. Additional responsibilities and growth within the project team and the company are limited only by your ability and motivation.Work alongside customers and members at all levels of the organization by providing top-notch customer service. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented environment.
What you need to qualify:
Ahern will help make the most of your post-secondary education ideally in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering. Preferred candidates willhave a completed related internship. Candidates that have sheet metal and piping industry knowledge would be a plus. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment. Knowledge of estimating software and AutoCAD is a plus. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
