Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading Alpine’s Engineering/Maintenance/Tool & die
function in support of Litchfield’s and Pontotoc’s NA high volume stamping operation, and
directing and leading all operations of the Pontotoc plant. This role will drive operational
excellence in production equipment performance, lead training and development of production
and technical/support resources, develop best-in class technical processes and cost reduction
initiatives while promoting employee health and safety.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Ensure all functions operate in accordance with all health, safety and environmental policies
and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and visitors.
· Actively support plant safety program by proactively driving safety training, performing
plant/department safety audits, conducting hazard assessments and ensuring open safety
issues are addressed in a timely manner.
· Deliver continuous improvements in safety, quality, and service to the customer.
· Lead, coach and develop a high performing team that meets plant/business objectives.
· Partner with Operations Director to develop Annual Plan & LRP budgets.
· Prepare the annual budget and ensure compliance with company needs for capital
investments and improvement projects and execute operational and maintenance CAPEX
projects.
· Develop effective processes in production, maintenance, and tool & die.
· Train and develop all technical resources on mechanical maintenance, hydraulics,
pneumatics, tool & die, electrical control systems and automation programming to meet the
current and future technical needs of the business. Ensure basic and advanced
troubleshooting tools/techniques are available and utilized effectively.
· Develop/implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and MRO replenishment
programs for all production equipment, maximizing planned down time and ensuring full
preventative maintenance is completed thoroughly and on-time.
· Manage the procurement of all new/used production and plant equipment from inception,
evaluation, capital approval, qualification, installation through final commissioning working
in collaboration with suppliers, contractors, external resources and all internal functions.
· Lead facility maintenance initiatives including building maintenance, energy consumption
and general facility contracts by proactively managing all suppliers and contractors ensuring
all legal and safety company requirements are met.

Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required
· 7 years experience in Engineering/Maintenance Management in a manufacturing
environment; experience working with Alpine strongly preferred
· Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to collaborate with and lead cross-
functional teams
· Experience with electrical control systems including AC/DC/VFD’S servo motors, PLC
programming and troubleshooting
· Experience with electrical/electronic, automation and robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics and
mechanics
· Experience with Tool & Die, blueprint reading, schematics, wiring diagrams and machining
· Excellent project management, problem solving and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management tools and maintenance management
software
· 30% travel
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk,
hear, reach with hands and arms, and regularly required to walk. Employee must be able to
endure frequent bending, kneeling, standing, and walking on hard surfaces such as
concrete. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to
adjust focus. Employee must be able to lift product materials that weigh from 1 pound to
