Staff Accountant
Location: Onsite in Auburn, AL
Compensation: $65K

What you'll be doing:
- Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including processing and reporting, analyzing collections, and maintaining internal controls.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Complete tax filings and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain tracking of major customer purchase orders.
- Assist in project management by tracking project costs and revenues.
- Conduct month-end/quarter-end/year-end close processes, including entering journal entries and preparing reconciliations to meet processing and reporting deadlines.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors as needed to support audits and reviews.
- Manage Accounts Payable and prepare weekly vendor payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of employee travel expenses.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of internal and external accounting and operating policies, procedures, and process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Excel.
- Sales tax experience preferred!
- Proficiency in NetSuite preferred.
