Accounting Specialist
Location: Onsite in Birmingham, AL
Compensation: $25/hr.
Contract-to-Hire | Part-time | 16-20 hours a week
What you'll be doing:
- Perform data entry tasks using QuickBooks to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Organize and maintain documentation and invoices for easy retrieval and reference.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations to ensure all transactions are categorized correctly and data is entered accurately.
- Assist with additional responsibilities such as bookkeeping support, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and managing transactions through Bill.com.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency in financial operations.
- Prior experience in accounting support or financial roles preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
