Title: Accounting Assistant
Role type: Contract (1-2 months) / Full Time
Location: Birmingham, AL / On-site
Compensation: $25/hr (DOE)
What you'll be doing:
As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for multitasking in all areas of office administration, clerical, and accounting duties. This includes managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, purchase orders, logistics coordination, and interacting with customers and suppliers. You'll have direct involvement with various departments and levels of management.
What you'll need to be considered:
Education and Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience (non-negotiable):

• 4 years of experience in accounting support/bookkeeping
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, preferably desktop

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter mentality
• Critical thinking abilities
• Detail-oriented approach
• Strong mathematical skills
