Title: Accountant
Location: Onsite in Birmingham, AL
Compensation: $25-30/hr.
Direct Hire
What you'll be doing:
•Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
•Engage with customers to resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up on outstanding payments.
•Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses.
•Generate statements and past due notices, maintaining clear communication with clients.
•Coordinate and assist with annual audits and tax filings.
•Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
•Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to be considered:
•Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred.
•3 years of accounting experience is required!
•Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
•Excellent communication skills and a knack for problem-solving.
•Detail-oriented with exceptional time management abilities.
