Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, providing menus and suggesting specials or featured items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing knowledge of menu items and ingredients to make recommendations.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of food and beverages to guests, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff as needed.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to inquiries or special requests, ensuring a personalized dining experience.
- Monitor and maintain table settings, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions with precision.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Assist in various tasks as needed, including setting up and breaking down dining areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding food safety, alcohol service, and guest interactions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills for processing payments.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
