Position Overview:
ITA Kitchen is seeking a skilled and dynamic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a strong knowledge of Italian and international spirits, wines, and cocktails, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As a Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by crafting expertly prepared beverages and engaging with patrons in a professional and friendly manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with ITA Kitchen's standards and recipes.
  • Utilize your creativity and expertise to develop innovative and seasonal cocktail offerings that complement the restaurant's culinary offerings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients, glassware, and bar tools.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately and efficiently, and ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
  • Engage with guests in a professional and personable manner, offering recommendations and knowledge about the menu items and beverages.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and restocking as needed to ensure efficient bar operations.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials, cleanliness of workstations, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails, with a focus on Italian and international offerings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mixology techniques and a passion for creating exceptional beverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Basic math skills for accurately processing orders, handling cash transactions, and reconciling receipts.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
