IT Ninjas is Hiring an IT Support Technician Near Mesa, AZ

Job Overview:
IT Ninjas is a local Managed Service Provider (MSP) with clients throughout Arizona and the U.S. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support professional to join our team. As a support technician at IT Ninjas, you will be an important part of a team that is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients. This is a critical role in ensuring our client's IT support needs are met and that their systems stay well maintained and functioning properly. It is a fun and rewarding environment with lots of variety as our clients have differing systems, software, and needs each day.

Duties:

  • Provide technical support to end users, both in person and remotely.
  • Drive to client's offices to help troubleshoot and resolve their issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues, including routers, switches, access points, mobile hotspots, and wiring testing.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software (Mainly PCs and some Mac).
  • Set up user accounts and permissions, and reset passwords and logins.
  • Assist with network administration tasks, such as managing user access rights and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Work with third party vendors to resolve issues (such as internet providers, Microsoft support, and other software and hardware support teams).
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Communicate effectively with team mebers and clients.
  • Document all support activities and solutions in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols.
  • Proficiency in Mac OS and Windows operating systems (Linux is a plus but not required).
  • Familiarity with software troubleshooting and installation processes.
  • Experience with Windows Servers including Active Directory, group policy, remote desktop, shared printers, and file shares.
  • Understanding of networking basics such as DHCP, DNS and LAN/WAN configuration and how to work with routers, switches and access points.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, including searching on Google, Microsoft Technet, and other sources for resolutions to problems.
  • Personable and strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
