Pay: starting at $25/ per hour and is NEGOTIABLE!

Sonographer Position:

• Full-time; direct hire
• Setting: acute care inpatient/outpatient
• Day Shift: 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Shift Differentials; Weekend Differentials

Sonographer Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Maintain daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate interpretation of ultrasound images.

Sonographer Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and RVT with certification in OB/GYN, Abdomen, or Adult Echo.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification.
• Ability to respond to facility within 60 minutes for on-call duties (if applicable)

Sonographer Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications or education related to diagnostic ultrasound.
• Experience with specialized ultrasound procedures or equipment.
