Vice President of Food & Beverage

• Management of the team, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and general supervision on a day-to-day basis.
• Meets restaurant financial objectives by developing and establishing strategic and annual forecasts and budgets; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; establishing and monitoring financial controls; developing and implementing strategies to increase average meal checks.
• Maintains operations by preparing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and patron-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.
• Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
• Controls purchases and inventory; negotiating prices and contracts; developing preferred supplier lists; reviewing and evaluating usage reports; analyzing variances; taking corrective actions.
• Constant attention to enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Leading staff with upselling techniques on a constant basis and monitoring the success.
• Implements and plans effective orientation, training & professional development activities for all staff.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry; reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
• Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Consistent presence on the floor during service, touching tables and interacting with guests.
• Addresses guest complaints and takes corrective action measures.
• Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, preventive maintenance, and other standards are consistently met.
• Ensures that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are in place and consistently utilized.
• Maintains appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.
• Responsible for the proper accounting and reconciliation of the Point of Sale systems and revenues.
• Audits and approves weekly payroll.
• Monitors employee dress codes according to policies and procedures.
• Ensures that all legal requirements are consistently adhered to, including wages & hours and federal, state and/or local laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages and food safety and sanitation.
• Work with Executive Chef to keep all menus up to date, priced accurately, and effective for operation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements – VP of Food & Beverage:

• May be required to work during the company’s busy peak business periods.
• This role will require nights, weekends and holidays
• This position will require work hours on-site that will exceed 55 hours per week as needed.
