IPC Industries LP is Hiring a Service Technician Near Murrieta, CA
Job Summary
The Service Technician will run diagnostic tests and perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on golf cars.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities
- Check fluid levels
- Mount and Rotate tires
- Complete routine maintenance, change oil and other fluids
- Replace or charge batteries, replace belts
- Run diagnostic tests
- Test functionality of parts
- Perform basic repairs
- Provide labor and time estimates
- Document processes and service repairs using a computer
- Produce timely and detailed service reports using Aspen Software
- Clock in and out of job orders
- Providing service and customer support during field visits
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Follow company standard operating procedures
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with customers while out in the field
- Other duties may be assigned by management as needed
Required Skills/Abilities
- Mechanical skills
- Experience in electrical background low to medium voltage
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair and test technical equipment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule
- Customer service skills
- Experience with both mechanical and hydraulic brakes systems
- Experience in custom fabrication a plus but not required
- Willing to work overtime as needed
Education and Experience
- 3 years or more experience in Motorsports, Automotive industry
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license
- ASE certification a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to push, pull and drag
- Repetitive motion
