The Iowa League of Cities seeks a qualified candidate for its Director of Information Technology position. This position will oversee, coordinate and manage the Information Technology activities for the Iowa League of Cities and the Iowa Municipal Workers’ Compensation Association to optimize the productivity of the organization through cost effective implementation of technology. Areas will include, but not limited to, strategic and operational planning, project management, client management and support, network administration and asset management and budgeting.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related field or commensurate experience. Additional formal training and relevant IT certifications as evidence of continuing education. Four (4) years’ experience in a related field with equal or similar responsibilities.
