Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Special Education, or Education is preferred
Pass the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Highly Qualified test.
Six months of professional experience working with school-age children with disabilities and/or medical needs
Possession of current Adult and Child Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Standard First Aid certification upon appointment and during tenure of appointment. Certification must be obtained in person. Online certification is not acceptable.
