We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Lead to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that advance our customers organizational goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic communications, branding, and messaging, with a proven track record of success in crafting and delivering impactful communication campaigns across various channels. The Strategic Communications Lead will play a key role in shaping the narrative, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving engagement with target audiences. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic communication plans that support organizational objectives, including brand positioning, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement. You will craft compelling messaging and narratives that effectively communicate mission, values, and key initiatives to internal and external audiences. Key responsibilities may include:

* Lead the development and execution of integrated communication campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, traditional media, and events.

* Manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage and maximize visibility for our organization and its initiatives.

* Oversee the creation and production of high-quality communication materials, including press releases, articles, speeches, presentations, videos, and infographics.

* Provide strategic counsel and support to senior leadership on communication matters, including crisis communication, issue management, and reputation protection.

* Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in strategic communications, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

* You'll need to foster and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of government personnel and contractor workforce. You will prepare and review information material for dissemination to various publics for conformance to Army policy.

Required:

* BS or BA in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

* Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic communications, with a focus on developing and executing communication strategies and campaigns for organizations or brands.

* Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable communication plans and tactics.

* Demonstrated experience in managing integrated communication campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.

* Prior experience working in a government Public Affairs Office (PAO), preferably Army PAO

* Some travel required

* Must have an in-scope security clearance
