We’re hiring Laundry Attendants to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!

Job Summary:

Laundry Attendants are in charge of sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding linens, towels, and bedding for the lodge, hotel rooms, and cabins. Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures. Our laundry room is a high volume and fast paced environment. 

The Details:

Pay: $12.90 an hour 

Housing/Meals: $13.50 per day

Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, washer/extractors, and drying tumblers according to laundry procedures.
• Collect dirty laundry throughout property via pushcarts.
• Monitor all equipment for correct operation.
• Keep the wash deck and tunnel area clear of linens on the floor. Keep emptied bins neat and organized.
• Follow proper safety practices as specified by laundry management including lockout-tag-out, and personal protective equipment such as chemical protective gear.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
• Basic computer skills helpful, including the ability to start and stop computer-controlled equipment.
• Good organizational skills, including the ability to plan production sequences, coordinate production through multiple stages, and coordinate with the finish floor to optimize overall production.

Physical Requirements include:

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Repetitive motion of arms, wrist, and hands during shift.
