Responsibilities
We're looking for an energetic, solutions-driven Field Operations Manager. The Field Operations Manager is responsible for the Tour Guides and Equipment management of a select group of domestic and international tours. Primary tasks include hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and management of the guides and regional point persons along with managing the technical components of a tour destination. This includes bikes, trip kit inventory, contracting local bike mechanics, contracting storage units, assigning bikes, as well as facilitating logistics and various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience managing staff or operations
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, Smartsheet
- Bike technical skills
- Must be available to answer emergency phone calls and assist with on-tour emergencies on weekends and evenings
- Clean driving record; willingness to become DOT Certified
- Ability to travel internationally
