Interim HealthCare is Hiring a RN Community Supervisor Near Kansas, MO

Interim Healthcare is looking for a RN Community Supervisor for our Private Duty Department. This is an in-office position and will also work in the field!

The territory is Kansas City, MO surrounding areas.

Ratio:

  • 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for monitoring compliance with nursing standards to ensure patient/client and field employee expectations are met or exceeded.
  • May have access to personal health information ("PHI") necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.
  • Responsible for developing, evaluating, and supervising a group of qualified employees.
  • Responsible for creating an environment conducive to achieving quality care goals among the employees through hands-on training and in-service resources available at the main office.
  • Responsible for the appropriate supervision of client care/service and the performance of the employee in providing the care/service. Operations
  • Responsible for the supervision of all care/service in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws as well as all policies, procedures, and standards of Interim HealthCare.
  • Responsible for assessment and proper documentation at the time of SOC and future care provided. The analysis and evaluation (Sup-visit) of the care services provided. To ensure nursing standards are adhered to and quality care is at the level of Interims expectations in accordance with the business plan.
  • Communicate with the client’s physician regarding medications and other care needs.
  • Provides skilled nursing services such as medication management, set-up, and orders/refills, or any nursing needs under a doctor's order, including any assigned Home Health nursing visits.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clinical and non-clinical staff, clients and client's families, physicians, and facility management staff. Community Education/Sales
  • Responsible for coordinating, educating, and contacting prospective and existing clients to assess their needs and to review Interim HealthCare’s full range of services (Private Duty, Package Service, Response System…) resulting in the achievement of expected growth and client satisfaction.
  • Providing functions at the facility to promote wellness and growth of potential clients. (Here’s To Your Health program, Blood pressure clinics, and Special Events)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have KS and MO or compact license.
  • Must be willing to work in KS and/or MO if needed.
  • Must have CPR certification.
  • Must have at least two years of nursing experience
  • Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, staff and customers.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workload.
  • Proficient in using EMR software programs.
