Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Visit

Opportunities in: Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland and surrounding areas

Compensation: $25-$150 per visit (dependent on visit type), PLUS mileage and travel compensation

Status: PRN

As a Home Health Registered Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

  • Provide in house care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases—often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility
  • Work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs and aides providing patient care
  • Examine patients, do assessments, document progress and report changes to their physician
  • Educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet and exercise
  • Coach family members on the patient’s plan of care, medication and home safety
  • Ensure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services

A few must-haves for Home Health Registered Nurses:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Colorado or Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with at least one year as a Nurse
  • Home health care experience helpful but not required
  • No Case Manager responsibilities
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 
  • At least 1200 hours of experience as an RN 
  • Health care CPR/BLS Certified (demonstration course required)
  • Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)
  • No Covid Vaccination Required
  • Must be willing to travel to Greely, Front Collins, Loveland and surrounding area
