Our client, a leader in the food service packaging industry, is seeking a Director of Sales for their Eastern Division.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market and commercialization strategies for new foodservice products.
- Create selling stories, sell-in decks, sales tools, and execute pilots/testing.
- Identify target accounts and provide training for execution.
- Sales and Market Insights:
- Provide sales and customer perspectives to ensure key trends and market learnings are integrated into strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to build necessary knowledge for informed commercialization strategies.
- Co-manage sales performance of foodservice products with sales leaders.
- Campaign Tracking and Training:
- Track innovation and insight selling progress through campaigns and pipeline opportunities.
- Lead training and capability building for the foodservice sales organization and products.
Job Requirements:
- BS or MBA (Business/Marketing preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven success in creating retail sales and marketing plans that drive consumer engagement and improve revenue streams.
- 10 years of national operational retail sales and marketing experience.
- Experience managing detailed sales and marketing-based P&L.
- Ability to travel locally and overnight.
