Land & Land Right Acquisition Attorney - Government Contractor

Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing Federal contracting company seeking experienced Land and Land Right Acquisition Attorneys who are proficient and competent, friendly, people-focused, and able to thrive in a high paced environment.

JOB DUTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Research exiting and underlying land rights, easements, and land ownership within project footprint.
  • Prepare landowner lists and maps needed to prepare and set up mail merge for various notifications.
  • Research Federal, County, State, and local records online or in person to obtain title, landowner, or land right information.
  • Assist in the request and review of all Title evidence and/or Title Commitments.
  • Prepare contracts, applications for Federal rights-of-way.
  • Prepare the Construction, Operation, and Maintenance (CO&M) plan.
  • Assist with investigating and documenting damage claims.

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Real Estate Attorney required.
  • MUST have Arizona Title experience.
  • Knowledge of land management and land acquisition policies, consistent with construction and maintenance policies, strategies, and legal authorities.
  • Extensive knowledge in land acquisition methods, procedures, and policies of the Federal Government, including the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970.
  • Experience in real estate terminology.
  • Experience in Federal laws, rules, and regulations especially pertaining to the Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service.
  • MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Impeccable work ethic.
