Intelligence Federal seeks an experience Instructional Designer to support a federal government agency client’s training needs. In addition to having the technical capabilities to do the job, our ideal candidate is dependable, able to work with quick turnarounds, and an excellent communicator.

SAMPLE DUTIES:

• Work with a cross-functional team to meet design specifications
• Evaluate and provide improvement recommendations to existing training materials
• Work with team of subject matter experts (SMEs) to create multiple distinct training courses
• Write, develop, and design multiple types of learning materials, which may include e-learning, instructor-led, simulations, case studies, and multimedia
• Provide updates and finalized training materials within required time frames
• Update training materials as needed or requested by client to improve the effectiveness of training

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to obtain and hold a Public Trust Clearance
• Work must be performed within the United States
• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field
• If degree is not in instructional design or a related field, candidate should have additional certification in instructional design
• Knowledge of or previous experience working with 508 Compliance
• Minimum of 8 (eight) years of professional experience in instructional design
• Demonstrated knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models to create effective learning exercises
• Experience designing and developing various types of learning materials
• Must be an excellent communicator and able to work with a cross-functional team
• Must have proficiency in instructional design software, learning management systems, authoring tools, and multimedia tools
