Accountant

Job Description: Provides financial reporting information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data for Integrated Electronic Technologies

Job Duties:

• Perform account reconciliations
• Develop, maintain and analyze budgets
• Perform financial and accounting analysis
• Research variances
• Prepare month-end close adjustments and reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries
• Prepare, examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards
• Additional responsibilities as per management direction

Skills and Qualifications :

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Business Administration and/or Accounting/Finance, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two years experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of Standard Financial and Accounting practices and procedures
• Must be able to operate Microsoft office products including Access, and Peachtree Accounting
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends as needed
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test
• Must have good analytical, communication, deadline oriented reporting, general math, and time management skills
