Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist at ISTI Plant Services located in Tulsa, OK. This position is required to be bilingual as they will need to communicate with both English and Hispanic employees on a daily basis. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, employee onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance with labor laws and supporting the professional development of employees. This role requires advanced Excel skills, excellent bilingual communication skills in both English and in Spanish, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently within the team.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and best practices, and maintaining compliance in applicable employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient working knowledge and advanced expertise in Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to efficiently process multiple payrolls each week
  • Administering policies for all employees in the company
  • Implementing and administering compensation programs
  • Drafting job descriptions, job offers, and termination letters
  • Experience in recruitment, hiring, employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Experience in performance management and employee relations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Ability to handle employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution
  • Ability to manage employee benefits programs and enrollment, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to motivate team members and be a team player
  • Experience ADP is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to speak and read both in English and in Spanish
